What is a Cetacean?
A cetacean is an amphibious humanoid that live on a planet covered almost completely with water, any dry land is almost completely beach, grassland or mangrove swamps. Due to this, most live in the sea, an atlantean feel surrounds their underwater cities, and it certainly shows. Since they always swim, they are always in peak physical condition, but love interesting body shapes, and love to watch such creatures swim (or attempt to swim). The Female Cetaceans hair is typically bluish and translucent hair, but hues of green and pink aren't uncommon, they are obsessed with new and interesting and above all, original hair styles, it is often that they change it once a day. Being amphibious, they can breath air normally, but can also breath under water with the gills on the stomach. The peace loving nature of these beings typically leave them more time to practice music, art and sciences and much less time with weapons, when they do develop weapons, however, they typically last very long and are very elegantly designed.

Their relationship with other races are typically very friendly, but they are quick to take up arms against any creatures that want to pollute their waters or kill their people, and intentions are always asked when above orbit over Delphinia. Since the human race learned their lesson about environmental conciousness, Humans typically get along well with the Cetaceans, and trade food and weapons that aren't made on Cetacea, most Cetaceans have a favorite Terran food (Terra is the new name for Earth) as well as a Cetacean food (for example, Cetacean lobster, and French Fries)

Male Differences:
-the head fins are always between three shapes, Full fin, which is the classic look for Cetacean males, Split fin, where the fin is as the name suggests, split into two and Long fin, where the fin extends down the neck
-As most creatures, the species sexual dimorphism favors the male, and thusforth, most males are between 6'2 and 6'7, and are rarely of any other height at full growth
-Males have the innate and poorly understood ability to sense whatever is 360 degrees around over a distance of about 6 feet. dissections show a part of the spinal cord having a separate cord altogether intermeshed, it is incidentally, similar to an organ found in a shark, a sensory organ called the "Lateral Line", though more study is needed.
-Males are the gender that get pregnant and has the children, the womb has what is in essence, a hole that is plugged up until the 12th month of "pregnancy" (gestation is typically 12th months)

Female Differences:
- The females, when "pregnant" grow a spike on their chest that they inject into their mate (the feeling has been, oddly and disturbingly enough, considered orgasmic equally, they consider this act "second sex", most other races consider this act "disgusting") the spike injects the eggs into the body of the male, which quickly and efficiently are brought into the womb of the male
-Females have incredibly innate natural abilities of Telekinesis, they can move objects effortlessly, and are a precious commodity in defending Delphinian cities, as they can use what they call "psychic cannonballs" which are in essence, psychic blasts of energy that when they hit, the person looks and feels like they were hit with a cannonball.
-A typical Female is 5 to 6 feet tall
-Many Cetacean women are flirty and fun when drunk, possibly due to the lack of fear of war or a nuclear annihilation

once again, Chibi-devilchan inspired me
