Arch Angel Andrew

This is a very old Character. Who I originally created out of my UNDYING HATRED of how the vast majority of angels, as presented in popular media, Games, fantasy, the internet are always shown as effeminite pussies. Andrew here is my way of saying shut the fuck up. He is viciously powerful, with mean weaponry and armour and is immensely huge.

I wanted to recreate the idea of angelic warriors in the Inquisitoria universe. That of them being symbols of power and righteous might that can step on tanks the way one would a beetle. By that of course I mean by accident and without much bother. Rather then the stereotypical weakling goody-goodies that is so prevelent when one thinks of angels in works of fiction.

Just because they are good does not, under any circumstances whatsoever mean they are, by definition, 'Nicies'.

However I have retained a great deal of symbolism in his appearence, his 'facelessness' is not to up the creepiness factor. Its how I'd actually imagine what'd be like to be a spiritual being. You are, in yourself, your very essence, so eyes and ears are virtually unneccesary. making his face mostly featureless, but he still moves it around as if the eyes were still there to look at things, and his speech still emanates from his head. Plus when you consider this and the fact his face is also mostly covered by a cowl makes it look fucking awesome.

And no those aren't tails. They're apart of his Robe. And yes, I shaped his wings to be almost hawk-like or eagle-like, I discovered you can increase the femininity or masculinity of any winged chaaracter depending on the size and shape of the wings themselves. Large, brooding wings with rough plummage denotes a protective or rough nature and masculinity, smoother, smaller/thinner wings denote gentleness and feminity. Altough I have no female angel characters yet and doubt I'd make one so I don't know if I can test this 'wing theroy' out yet.
