A while ago I got introduced to Fate/stay night manga by my boyfriend. He is a fan of the eroge visual novel, and wanted to share his fandom with me through the all-ages manga and then the anime. I found the series kinda funny, in a nice way. I wasn't going really hyper about it though, and as we watched the anime series I was mostly annoyed by his continuous comparisons to the oh-so-awesome visual novel. So that not even halfway through the anime I demanded him to lend it to me, and despite his initial resistance (the sort of "but ecchi can hurt your eyez" lulz) I got to play it. And it was awesome. Seriously.
It was a long time I didn't get so much into a fandom. And then I was so crazy to start this 100 themes challenge about it, I hope I can do them all someday
