A marvelously malevolent marker masterpiece from one of Sheezy's preeminent horror artists,
Kerrigore.

In
Furnace, the marker work is clean and crisp, with a careful arrangement of warm and cool hues, dark and light values, sharp lines and soft blending lighting, for maximum visual impact. It all works to draw the viewer's attention immediately to a mesmerizing focal point in the eyes. The character's gaze is direct and confrontational, and the figure is offset to the left to be even more unsettling, giving a feeling of ominous threat. Blood-chillingly good!

I really, really like this. You did such an ace job with the facial structure and his expression. I love the way you colored his lips, and that grin is positively wicked.

The ways have it here. I love the intensity of them, as well as the darkness and the wrinkles of the skin around them. I also love that bone-white complexion paired with that fiery red. The gold tones are delicious, too. This is definitely one of my favorite pieces out of you... I'd hit Razul like the fist of an angry semi truck (what).

Dittoing what's already been said, yo.

When did you stop using white paint for highlights?
VERY slick marker work. The color contrast is deliciously intense.

This is INTENSE I really love that his grin and eyes just beam down on the viewer like hot lava. 83

I'm moved by your artistic talent.
It's unique & kind of macabre. You know,he sort of reminds me of the Joker from Batman. I'd say,if the Joker had relatives I think they might look a bit like this guy.
Anyway, pardon my lame attempt a jokes.
Though seriously it's an amazing picture.

Facepaint is a nice touch. I really love his dressings. The high collar and chain add the sort of "Dark lord" kinda feel.
I like it alots.
Singol Darkwood Says:
If this doesn't receive a Feature, I'll be highly disappointed.
The coloring is excellent, but what really does it for me is his expression. It's expressive and well detailed without being over the top. His grin unnerves me and I love it.
If this is an example of the quality you'll offer for your commission work, you're going to be rolling in the dough.
StarGazerAngel Says:
wow, I had to double-take when you said it was copic marker! "Marker, what? Surely this is digital colo-oh look, marker.
"
And that is definately a piece worth paying for. I love the whole thing - the vibrant coloring, the composition, the simplicity, yet the small details...ARGH, ME WANT.
