The Redeemers page 8, art only

And that's the first issue! I've been describing "The Redeemers" as kind of a "micro-series" in it's current format, with some 4-6 short stories, but each issue being about 8 pages long. So here's the last page of this introductory issue.

One thing that you may have noticed in pages 6-8 is that Gabe is looking very thoughtful, and then into a kind of down-and-out look. A big "happy accident" about that is that by placing Gabe directly in front of this prominent light source of the rear window of the tour bus, it requires me to cast his face in shadow. I find that very appropriate considering the weight of what he has to say and what the reader will begin to infer about him and the band from the dialogue.

No big complaints about this page, although I feel like Dex could have come out better. I think I really peaked on Dex back on his close-up on page 6.
