I came across a discussion on some oekaki about anime artists and realism. Apparently these "elite artists" think anime artists can ONLY draw disproportional chibis...yes, in some cases it is true, but in no way is it a standard.
With me, it's not that I CAN'T do realism, it's that I DON'T like drawing human realism. Oh well, I just did this as practice, and to show that any artist can draw people if they truly want to and take the time to learn, no matter what their main category of art is.
It's U-Know Yunho. IMO, though I love Micky, Yunho has a gorgeous profile.

On the contrary to those " elite artists' " opinions most professional and GOOD anime artists have done realism but prefer to do anime. Without the knowledge of realism, most anime drawings are mehhh..

Ugh I'm so sick of hearing that same crap all the time. This looks fabulous, I'm really glad you make something like this! Different from your usual stuff yet equally awesome. I'm in love with his nose and jawline.
