Okay, I know this is a shitty point-and-shoot snapshot, but it was SO FUCKING IMPORTANT that I've dubbed it a submission, alright?
So, one of the doctors at Dad's hospital found this on his front porch, last night. He knew I wanted one, so he brought it in and Dad consequently gave it to me as a gift. I named him "Milkshake." However, like all good things that come my way, I can't keep him. He's a wild tarantula, so I have to let him go, tomorrow.
However, I've enjoyed the few hours I've had him, carrying his jar (he's in a big ol' tupperware thing) around like a teddy bear and setting it by me while I read and eat. We put a moth and a dragonfly in there, and the whole thing turned into a giant orgy of movement, flapping, and a very scared spider. We let the dragonfly go, but Milkshake ate the moth.
Anywho, I'm a little worried that Milky will get out during the night, as when I went to visit him, he was up on the lid with a leg or two poked through. It's not so much that I'm worried about him lurking around here, it's more that I don't want to wake up to find my spider gone. We'll see.
