Is this a mixed media of paints? I know Rubystar mentioned it being watercolor, but the waves give a more oil paint feel. To be honest, I enjoy the use of color in the sky more than anything else in this.
Not to say the other bits are no good, of course. My eyes are just lured away by it. The range of hues make it an inviting piece to look at.
