This is my tripod. Unlike most tripods, mine is actually meant for fighting “on Mars.” One thing no one has ever taken into consideration is that the Martians have no experience fighting on another planet other than their own so most likely they would be Mars red and built to handle desert terrain.

I like this series of pictures you've done. A very cartoony and bold style to them. I don't agree with what you said about their tripods being designed for mars though. Doesn't the story say something about the martians watching us for a very long time? We can only asume based on their technology that they're more advancd than us...and we can judge a plannet's conditions from much farther away than mars, and we're smart enough to design our technology for our destination's conditions, aren't we?
