'Blind' [preview] (An angsty EnxSi oneshot)

A slight breeze blew, stirring his onyx-emerald locks and sweeping them beside him. He blinked absentmindedly, pushing them back in place. He set his hand back on his other arm, gazing at the city again, the bright lights twinkling in the clear night. Another breeze blew, this time blowing his hair back behind him. He shut his eyes slightly at the wind, the cool air refreshing on his skin. The wind died down, the homunculus opening his eyes fully again. The frown had slowly vanished from his face, being replaced with an almost content-looking, blank expression. He loved looking out at the city, the lights dancing like beautiful gems in a dark, calm sea.

The boy blinked after watching the lights for a few minutes, slowly turning his face down slightly to look at his partially gloved hands. They were so simple, two things he used everyday, not really taking any notice. Until they were used for what he'd just finished doing. There it was, a dime sized smear of dried blood on his right forearm; it must have been from the phone. He'd tried to wash his hands, but that didn't clean his guilt, or the one mark apparently. He narrowed his eyes slightly, looking back to the city.
