there is good contrast, black to white and yellow to blue. makes me wonder whether you know it or if you just do it instinctively. however, the space between the left ear and the left eye is bigger than the space between the right ear and the right eye and the tilt of the mouth doesnt match with the tilt of the eyes and nose (that one happens to me too ) one advice that i would give you is to make measurements of the proportions on the sketching phase, maybe reading some about facial proportion or just look at yourself in the mirror and measure with a pencil, bet you'll find out a bunch of stuff about your own face that you can use on your drawings. by the way, i like how you made the hair, strand by strand ^^ lovely piece overall, good job!
