I woke up one day.
I was bored.
I thought "I'm going to make a hat."
So I did.
It took about 5 hours in total, as I've never made anything like this before and I'm surprised it got finished at all x3 I used cardboard to make the shape, an old pair of trousers for the material, two ribbons for the border and then decorated it with padded silk hearts and feathers. The hardest bit was adding a hairclip to the bottom, which is rather silly but it was hard to get it at the right angle and prevent it being side-heavy.
I've just bought a new lolita dress and it's piiiink so hopefully I can wear this with it ^-^
Also included are photos of the hat being modelled by Hello Kitty and myself, please excuse the fluffy hair C: My Hello Kitty looks evil there.
