This is another Neon genesis Evangelion fan art I drew not too long ago.
It's another version of Shinji Ikari as a 19-year-old pre-op
transsexual. Though this time I made the costume a bit more elaborate.
And I think the anatomy is better as well.
I used ink & makers to create this & believe me it wasn't easy work.

Well,he has he's moments...especially in episodes18,16,& 8.
Heck,In episode 8 he was wearing Asuka's plug suite & in the next one he was wearing a similar exercise outfit so it's not that hard to picture,he,he,he.
In all honesty,he's my favorite character in the series.

the only thing that i see that throws me off a little, is the top of the outfit. is is too short across the boobs. I know you are going for a twisting torso, i think. you are on the right track but you need to show a couple of wrinkles to give it that effect. other than that is looks great!

Ah, it sounds like an interesting Idea, his creators were rather specific on him being essentially feminine, and Shinji really does seem to have a blurred gender identity; his roles and behavior during the show lean to the socially feminine (he's basically the wife in the Katsuragi house) and the only time he really bring up his gender was during the 2.0 as a way to try and get Kaji to stop hitting on him(he later ended up asking for a date), and then there's his father as the most notable male influence in his life so I can really see him rejecting his assigned gender.
And I can very much see Kaworu being some one who'd suport him and not bother with social ideas like gender (one of the unused drafts had Shinji crying into Kaworu's shoulder), and Shinji given his rather delicate looks certanly would make a pretty "girl".
