Sloo and Salad Paws are probably my two favorite dogs that I have created.
I love them all, but I think these two take the cake.
I created Sloo about three years ago.....and I created Salad Paws on November 2nd, 2008.
Sloo first came into mind when I started playing Sly 2.
The game was very addicting to me, so I decided that I wanted to come up with my own Sly Cooper character.
OMG, no way: Sloo's gear was supposed to be red and his cane was supposed to be black with a tiny bone icon imprinted on the bottom.
OMG, why not: Green looks better with brown fur and he's more easily recognized as Sly Cooper's dog with a yellow cane.
Salad Paws' story is a little more elaborated.
My cousin, who's account on SA happens to be Peacer, showed me the Salad Fingers episodes on Halloween when she spent a few nights at my place.
Personally they scared the shit out of me, but it DID give me an idea of another character.
Didn't really know what it would look like at first, but I wanted something creepy (duh).
It came to me when Peacer and I were busting guts at our own Salad Fingers impressions.
I was all, "if there was a dog on the show, his name would probably be Salad Paws!"
Yeah, lol.
That's how it all began.
I don't really know why I said that in the middle of our so-called "amazing" impressions, but that's me for ya.
I guess I was high.
But ANYWAYS.....moving on.
OMG, no way: Salad Paws was supposed to be a brown dog with pointed ears and a purple plaid long-sleeved shirt with freakishly large buttons. His obsession was supposed to be about rusty forks and rusty knives. Daisies were supposed to give him pleasure. I also considered the thought of making him gay.
OMG, why not: If Salad Paws was a brown dog with pointed ears, he would look very identical to Sloo. Being a Dalmatian with big, black, rugged ears makes him look a bit more creepy in my eyes.
Salad Paws' obsession is also over rusty spoons because it gave him his nickname that Sloo calls him.
Spoony! lol.
Instead of daisies, cutting himself on the salad stalks gives him pleasure.
Yes, Salad Paws is a bit emo.
This replaces being gay.

first off let me just say that yours and Sloo's looking pretty darn good in terms of expressions
Salad Paws, on the other hand, is a different story. his head seems excessively large, and it's made worse with the overly large smile. he seems cross-eyed too but i assume that was intentional.
Next is arms. Sloo's and Salad Paws' arms bend to steeply making it seem like the elbows are really high up, which is an anatomy no-no. and your arms bend too low making it seem that the elbows are right next to your wrists.
I will point out that Salad Paws' feet are pretty well done, but the others aren't as much so i'd just do the same thing for the others as you did for SP.
other than that i really have no major complaints. keep on workin at it and you'll keep improving
