I've never considered solarizing a negative before. Have you ever left a photo to solarize for days on end? On one hand, it discolours and turns a very unique brown-red colour, then what's supposed to be black turns tan and silver. I did a couple prints like that (entirely on accident) and the ended up looking like tintypes. Very strange indeed.
