I had to get acquainted with the new actionscript 3 while making the compilation for this. Needless to say it was about as frustrating as when i learned to use maya. I cannot even begin to explain to myself why the people who conveived actionscript 3 had to make it so horribly complicated for what it's worth.

During this term we learned to animate interacting characters. We only did four animation projects, one of which was made in team and uses characters from a series, so I excluded it. These projects were a much heavier workload than the projects from last term.

Animation 1 : Tamer
I had to animate a tamer and its huge animal, the designs of which I made last term, interacting physically for about 5-6 seconds.

Animation 2: Children
I had to design and animate two jungle children, a little girl who took herself for a giraffe and a little boy who took himself for a hippo, interacting according to a precise scenario.

Animation 3: Elders
I had to animate two elders of my own design. A previously designed (by someone else) character, Stew, would enter their house, they would look at each other, one expressing agreement and the other disagreement, and it would end up with them either accepting or rejecting Stew.

There are severe timing, anatomy and movement issues in these projects. I also realize that I abused smooth-ins and smooth-out, and that I could have used morphs and tapers much more often. I'm seriously going to need to better myself quickly before my last term.
