Tha Wiz

Poster I did for my school's production of The Wiz. Yes, that's the version with Michael Jackson. And the guy from Cameo. No I don't know why we're doing it.

Only spent about 3-4 hours total on this in all likelyhood; spent about ten hours trying to do really intense detail but it looked like shit and the deadline was rapidly approaching so I scrapped it and tried for a psuedo-pop-art-modernist-bullshit approach. Not my favorite, but it's solid.
