Part 2

The sun came and filled the room with the bright orange of morning. There was a vicious rapping at the door. Kimo woke up and crawled leaving, Kazu in the bed sleeping, he dressed himself some before he opened the door.
“Yes?” he rubbed his eyes quickly.
“Kimo?” he asked and he was given a small nod, “is Kazu here?” Ames asked
“Yeah.” He said, “Wait here, please” he turned yawning. He walked into his room and crawled on the bed, and shook him gently “Kazu, time to get up.” He said shaking him harder. Kazu opened his eyes, and stretched yawning.
“Ames here?” he asked and put his hands down on his head, shoving him down playfully.
“Yeah, he’s waiting outside.” He smiled and pulled him out of the bed. “Get dressed and I’ll be out here.” He said walking out of the room and shut the door.

Kazu sighed, he got dressed. He opened the door and walked out. He saluted Private Ames quickly and then turned back to Kimo. “Ok, ill see you when I get back” he kissed him quickly and then walked out the door with Ames.

He followed Ames’ Jeep and sighed he kept thinking about Kimo. He shook it off and hit the throttle. He rushed past Ames, flying down the highway.

He stopped his bike in the small garage on the backside of the base. He turned it off and hung his keys up and went to the Colonel’s housing.
“You’re late.” He turned around form the wood table, “Why?” he asked
“Sorry, sir.” He stood still, “Lost track of the time.” He waved his tail slowly.
“Don’t lie to me.” The Colonel shouted, making Kazu jump. He calmed down in a few minutes, “go to the armory, and prepare for departure at 12:00 hours.” He dismissed him.

Kazu walked slowly to the armory. He sighed, ‘Wonder what’s there?’ he thought to him self. He opened the door and saluted the stand-in guards, he went to the back corner and sighed again, he was thinking of Kimo again, ‘What’s wrong with me?’ he questioned him self. Kazu sighed and stood up, he striped himself down of he military wear and pulled on a skintight suit. It gave him better movement. His reached hindered by nothing. He breathed, he shivered slightly when he moved, “This thing sucks to keep me warm.” He whined. He walked to a rather limited choice of weapons. He picked up an M9, ‘no one takes the tranqs.’ He thought putting the gun into a holster and put it around his thigh.
He walked out of the armory and went back to the Colonel’s quarters and knocked on the door lightly; the Colonel said, “Enter.” He pushed the door open, walking into his officer’s presence. “Wear this too.” He said out of the blue, “its our new communications.”
“You sure it’ll work?” The dragon boy picked it up, it was small, it fit into the palm of his hand, he put it around his ear and it felt like t was going to tear his ear off.
“We may not have tested yet, but I trust our supplier.” He said and looked sternly at Kazu.
“Great you’re sending my to an enemy base, with a thing that’s going to rip my ear off, that may not work to start with.” Kazu said what was on his mind about it, and he sighed finishing up.
“Don’t talk back,” he threw the paperweight, Kazu dodged it, a loud crash was heard as it busted a window.
“Sorry, sir… just a lot on my mind.” He said honestly.
“You’re going into enemy territory where they wont hesitate to kill you, so you need to focus and forget about everything, for now.” Colonel said and sighed, “You are a foolish boy.” He said and tilted his head; looking at the watch on his desk, “Report to the docks.” He said and sat back down.
“Sir, speaking my mind, but its illogical to take a boat to the island, they will see us before we even get close to it.” He said and braced for another thrown item.
“We are going to take you close, and then you’re going to swim the rest of the way.” He said and dismissed Kazu.

‘Swim? Is he crazy?’ Kazu thought and went to the dock ‘I can’t swim,’ he thought, ‘not that good.’ He added and found the boat, it held weaponry at the front, a good military boat, he looked up and climbed up the ladder.

They pushed off soon, and Kazu met with the captain, he saluted and told him what’s going to happen.
“Yes the Colonel stated every thing, and we have prepared you a suit that WILL get you there.” He said and pointed to a rack. “You will enter through here,” they had been looking at a map. “Carefully you will go around each place and report what you see, or at least that’s what he said.”
“Alright.” He said and walked over to a suit, it was thicker then the suit he wore now, but not much. He pulled it off the wall and got into it, but it was hard cause of the suit was barley his size. They got closer to the island quickly, but Kazu was still unhappy, at least he would get off the boat.
