The first thing that you must have is a Mortar and pestle. The Mortar and pestle is the bear bones for any mixtures, without it alchemy is not possible. There are other tools as well, but we shall cover these later.
The Mortar and pestle
This can be made from wood, clay, metal, and even glass. It comes with a small thick shelled bowl, the Mortar, and a small shaft with a ball-like end, the pestle. How you use these varies upon the ingredient. Things such as seeds need to be crushed with gentle direct blows while leaves need a constant amount of pressure while moving the pestle in small circles. Some may even need to be cooked before using. However it is up to you to determine the proper methods for reading the ingredients.
