Otherkin Essay - Part Four

Field theory states that there is a field of chaotic energy that all that is arises from. When a conscious being becomes aware and looks about to observe, the field coalesces into what they observe. Field theory is akin to quantum mechanics in that its base is that our consciousness is creative. Therefore we create our reality, and it is the belief of being Otherkin that causes it to exist (McTaggart, 119).

One of the unfortunate things about being Otherkin is that it can lead to students (or children in general) to feeling a sense of misplacement amongst other people who are not like them, very similar to the sense of misplacement suffered by gay youth in our society. It is their very difference that generates a sense of alienation and a general loner complex. This can cause serious challenges in the child’s educational and social life or the adult’s life at work. As it is for one religion to go against another for simply being different or unusual, the same occurs here and causes mental and physical pain to the person. In addition, there are very few Otherkin who will admit to who they are in public. This leaves them without a support system or like others with which to interact

In conclusion, string theory, quantum physics and field theory all point toward the possibility of Otherkin existing. It is hoped that with increasing knowledge of Otherkin, mounting investigation into the nature of reality, and open-mindedness on the part of humanity, those who consider themselves ‘kin will no longer have to suffer in silence and growing isolation. The possibility does exist that one day all will gather together peacefully and serenely, whether they are gay, straight, black, white, human or ‘kin. We can only hope.

My teacher gave me an extremely poor grade on this simply because she didn't agree with what I said. She read my rough draft, told me it would do, then had me turn in this final draft. She didn't even read the final aside from the introductory line, which irritates me more than a little. She claims to be open minded and such, yet she can't bring herself to at least look at this as such? Its something that bothers me greatly. Quite glad I won't have to see her face ever again since my councellor is having me stay in there rather than go to her class. Gods she is such a bitch...

Would y'all mind telling me what you think, and if the grade I got was deserved?

Please keep in mind that this is an ESSAY. It is a bit long. Final page, whole essay is six pages long.
