Not Another- 7
By the time they got to the man’s house, both Will and Pae were worn and ready to pass out at the first chance they got.
“You two will have to share a room, there’s not enough space for you to have your own.” The man explained while leading them down a small hallway. He opened a door to his right and went in.
“You’ve got to be kidding…” Both girls said at once. The room was small, dirty, and only had one bed.
“I don’t kid.” The man growled. He turned to leave, looking over his shoulder he said, “Get some rest. Training will start as soon as the sun is up.” He slammed the door against Pae’s complaints.
“Damn him!” She shouted kicking a stray stool that sat near the wall. “Gah, can you believe this- What are you doing?”
“I got dibs on the bed.” Will said laying down.
Pae walked over to the edge and put her hands on her hips. “The hell you do, get off.” She said. When Will refused to move, Pae grabbed her arm and pulled her off. “You sleep down there.” She went to sit down, but Will grabbed her leg and pulled her down beside her.
“If I don’t get the bed, then neither do you!” Will hissed.
Both girls sat up. “Is that so?” Pae asked. Will replied with a single nod. “Very well…” Pae jumped onto of Will and pinned her to the floor. “You need to learn you place!” Will reached up and grabbed a handful of Pae’s hair.
“I’m not that weak that I can’t beat you!” Will yelled back. Both girls tussled on the floor, pulling at each other’s hair, cursing, and an occasional slap.
Only minutes later the man walked in and raised his eye brows at them. “Ah-hem. I hope you two are well rested up. Your training will start right away.” He said pulling them apart.
“What!?” Will yelped struggling to look out the window. “But, it was just dark!”
“What the fuck? You gave us like… five minutes!” Pae yelled. “How were we supposed to rest in five minutes!?”
The man shrugged. “Maybe if you hadn’t spent it fighting you might have gotten more.” He said. “Now come, you’ll have to hurry if you want breakfast.” He left the room with Will and Pae close on his heels. Their stomachs growling.

“I thought we were getting breakfast.” Will complained as she and Will followed the man through the forest.
“What, did you expect the food to just be waiting on a plate for you?” The man said sarcastically.
“Yeah… Kinda.” Pae muttered. She looked over her shoulder into the bushes that surrounded them. Nothing here seemed normal. The trees were blue and purple for crying out loud! A bush rustled and Pae stopped to stare at it.
A small black and red rabbit-ish thing hopped out and sat up on it’s hind legs staring at her. Aww… Pae thought, not that she’d ever say that out loud. “Hey a rabbit.” She said to the others. “Come here little guy…”
The man turned pale. “No! Get away from it!” He shouted.
