A Father and his son walking in the town on the side walk when son asks a question

"Dad?" Thomas said as they walked

"Yes?" said George

"How's work been going?" Thomas asked

"Well, well today. I transplanted a Liver to a patient" George said

"What's a Liver?" Thomas asked

"Ha-ha! Well, it's an organ in our body that filters our blood and more. But, I doubt you'd want to see one" he explained

"No, I don't. Ha-ha!" Thomas chuckled

As they walked hey pass an alleyway and a chough is heard.

"Hm?" George said looking into the alleyway.

"Stay here Thomas" George said putting his hand on Thomas’s head.

"Ok" Thomas said confused of what’s going on.

George walking into the alleyway looking to find what made the noise goes though some trash in a garbage bin and pulls out something.

"What did you find?" Thomas trying to see what his dad pulled out.

George runs out of the alleyway and stops in front of his son holding a small dark purple haired girl with a moldy white dress holding a blue and white cat doll. She is bleeding from the cuts and bruises
She has.

"Why was that girl in the trash?" Thomas asked kind of scared of what he sees.

"Son we got to go to the hospital now" George told his son.

"o-ok" Thomas panicked a little.

George grabbed his son's hand while holding the girl in the other and they run to the hospital. There George call for help and the staff gets the girl and goes to another room and George and Thomas wait in the waiting room.

"Is that girl gonna be ok?" Thomas asked calmed down.

"I don't know we have to wait" George said.

Thomas goes to play with the toys in the room while George sits in his seat.

40 mines later the nurse comes in.

"George?" the nurse called out.

"Yes?" George said getting up from his seat.

"The girl is ok now the cut have been infected but we treated them so she'll be ok" the nurse explained.

"What’s wrong with her?" Thomas asked.

"She just hurt really badly but we're making her better" The nurse said squatting down.

"Oh I hope she does get better" Thomas said in relief.

"But we pulled up her files. Her parents are in jail for child abuse and the child ran away from an orphanage a week ago" The nurse said looking at the files

"Oh then she's alone with no one to go to...*he calls home to his wife*

Child Abuse? Thomas said

*George talks to his wife on the phone then ends the call*

"I’ll adopt her!" George said

"Oh ok you'll need to go to the orphanage here" The nurse said giving the paper to George

"All right, Thomas stay here with her and the nurse till I get back ok?" George said putting his hand on Thomas’s shoulder

"Ok dad" Thomas said

"Good boy" George said going out

"Ok let go to her" the nurse said holding Thomas’s hand going to the girl's room

When they got to the room the girl was still asleep

"Oh she's still asleep must have been tough on her" the nurse said coming in the room with Thomas

"What’s her name?" Thomas said

"Oh I forgot" the nurse said getting the file to look

"I didn't think adults could forget stuff like that" Thomas said chuckling

"Well some do....ah her name is Liz" The nurse said looking at her file

"Liz nice name" Thomas said

Liz opened her eyes when he said that and looks around drossy like

"Oh hi Liz" Thomas said going up to the bed

Liz looked at Thomas wondering what’s going on

"Can you talk Liz?" Thomas wondered

Liz just sat there quiet and puts her Cat doll in front of her face

"Hello who are you?" the doll said

"......uh Thomas your new brother" Thomas said kinda feeling weird talking to the doll

"Brother? But Liz and you are not related" the doll said

"No but my dad said he's gonna adopt Liz" Thomas said

"Oh that’s good Liz has nowhere else to go since we ran away from the orphanage" the doll said

"But didn't Liz have parents?" Thomas said wondering why they left

"Oh her parents they were cruel. Beating her and cutting her cause they had a bad day" the doll said

"So that’s why you two left?" Thomas said

"Yep I convinced Liz to run away and report to the police when they weren't looking so she wouldn't live like that anymore" The doll said

Liz unknowingly to the others cried a bit behind the doll

"But what about the orphanage?" Thomas said wondering

"oh there was some mean kids there picking on her and taking some of her food some even bullied her for 4 days then I told her to leave"

"Then why were you two in a dumpster?" the nurse said

"oh the adults from the orphanage was trying to find her so I told her to hide in a Dumpster till it was clear then Thomas's dad found us luckily!" the doll said

"Oh well I bet it was pretty scary" The nurse said

"Oh yes it was. Kinda hard finding food to eat when we left.....OH how rude of me I forgot to tell you my name. My name is Mr. William pleased to meet you" The doll said

"So your name is William huh?" George said coming in the room wit the adoption papers

"Hi dad!" Thomas said surprised

"Oh thank you for finding Liz and me she could have died out there" the doll said

"..... Oh the talking doll instead of the person talking shyness ok. Well glad I could help" George said

"Yes she's very shy so I translate what see says to me" the doll said

"Ok then you think she's ok to come with me and Thomas?" George said to the nurse

"Oh yes you need to check her out of the hospital" The nurse said

George picks up the girl and walks out and Thomas follows and goes to the front desk and signs some paper
As they drive off to they home George wants to know more about her new adopted daughter and ask a question to her

“So Liz what’s your favorite color?” George asked

Liz just sat there then almost moving her mouth but shuts it closed again and puts the doll in front of her face again.

“Oh her favorite color is white and a little bit of blue maybe a tiny bit of yellow” the doll said

“Ah I see why she chose you then ha-ha” George said

“What’s your favorite treat?” Thomas said

“We didn’t get treats” the doll said

“Oh ok” Thomas said

They arrive at the house and they get out as George holds Liz’s hand and goes in

“Hello Hon! Oh this must be our new daughter” the mother comes close

"Yes it is say hello Liz" George said

"...................."Liz quietly standing putting the doll in front of her again

"Hello I’m sorry but Liz is very shy and I translate for her. Oh I’m Mr. William nice to meet you" the doll said

"Oh I see well William I’m Barbra. George's wife" Barbra said

"Ok I think it's almost time for dinner why don't you kids play outside?" George said

"Ok!" Thomas said walking outside with Liz

"Have fun and don't hurt yourselves!" Barbra said getting dinner ready

The kids play outside and Liz sees a loose fence piece in the fence but ignores it and sits on the swing swinging while Thomas plays with his ball around the yard

Later Barbra calls the kids for dinner and they come in and sit down

"What’s for dinner dear?" George asks

"Chicken with green beans and broccoli" Barbra said giving out portions out

"Eww broccoli" Thomas said

Liz eats the food while Thomas watched

"You like that stuff?" Thomas asked

"Well we didn't get a lot of stuff to eat so we had to eat what we got" the doll said in front of Liz's face

"See Thomas Liz likes it, it's good for you" Barbra said

"Yuck I don't see why not being so tasty" Thomas said playing around with his plate

"Now now you eat every bite Thomas or no TV for 3 days" George said

"Argh" Thomas said slowly eating it

Liz softly chuckled then goes back to eating

The family finishes there dinner

"That was great honey" George said

"Oh thank you dear" Barbra said kissing him on the cheek

"Eww kisses" Thomas said

"Now son you'll feel different about it when you’re grown up" George said

"No I won't!" Thomas said getting off the seat

"Ok boys it's off to bed you two" Barbra said washing the dishes

"Awww okay" Thomas said going to his room with Liz

Thomas opens the door and the room is messy with toys and stuff around the floor

"Sorry that it's messy" Thomas said getting though the mess

"Thomas you need to clean this room up after we go to the Museum tomorrow ok?" George said coming in the room

"Yeeesss daaad" Thomas sighed getting into bed

"Oh Thomas your going to sleep on the bottom bunk now Liz will sleep on top" George said

"Ok dad" Thomas said getting off the top bunk and into the bottom bunk

Liz climbs up to the top and gets into bed

"Good night you two" George said turning off the light

"Night dad!" Thomas said

"Good night Mr. George" the doll said in front of Liz's face again

George closes the door and they both sleep

During the night Liz cries a bit then going back to sleep sometimes

Its morning time and George wakes up and goes to the kid’s room.

"Wakie wakie kids!" George said opening the door

"Mmm...5 more mins. ......" Thomas mumbled loudly

Liz wakes up and trips trying to get off the top bunk and falls down on the floor that has toys

"Oh my are you ok!?" George said coming in the room near Liz

Thomas wakes up and sees Liz on the floor and gets out of bed. Liz gets up from the floor and has a bruise on her head

"Oh that’s a nasty bruise" George said

"Wow a big one" Thomas said looking at it

"Best thing to leave it alone for awhile it'll heal up" George said

Thomas pokes it while Liz looks at Thomas wanting him to stop

"Thomas stop poking it" George said

"Ok" Thomas stopped poking

"Oh you have a cut too on your right hand" George said going to get a band aid

Thomas looks at the cut

"Does that hurt?" Thomas asked

Liz looked at him saying nothing and George comes back with the band aid

"Ok here you go" George said putting on the band aid on her hand

"Can we get breakfast?" Thomas asked

"Wait Thomas you got to clean this room up later so this won't happen again" George said

"ok dad..."Thomas said not liking to clean up

"And Yes you can go" George said

Liz and Thomas goes the kitchen and sit down with there breakfast

"So anything happen I heard a thud in the kid’s room" Barbra said

"Oh Liz fell off the bed and she knocked her head on the floor and had a cut on her hand" George said

"OH our new daughter already hurt herself we need to put some cushions in they're room!" Barbra said having a worried face

"Oh I don't think we need to go that far yet dear" George said

"Well you maybe right but if it does happen again I will personally do it!" Barbra said

"Ok then" George said finishing his breakfast

"All right kids lets go to the museum get dressed" George said going to his room to dress

"Ok dad come on Liz" said Thomas getting off his seat and going to his room

Liz followed Thomas and went to there room and dressed with a yellowish red dress and Thomas dressed with overalls. They left to the car and drove off

"So Liz what’s you wanting to see at the museum Liz?" George said driving the car

Liz opened her mouth almost saying something but puts the cat doll in front of her face again

“OH Liz’s is hoping to find fossils like fish or eggs" the doll said

"Oh that sounds interesting" George said stopping in the parking lot

"Oh where here yay!" Thomas said

The all got out and went into the museum and near the front door was standing a skeleton of a T-Rex and Liz gets scared and hides behind Thomas

"hahaha it's ok Liz it's just bones and teeth it's not gonna eat you" George Laughed

Liz is still behind Thomas scared of the T-Rex and they move on to see the other stuff they had

As they walked they seen fossils that Liz gazing at them, next the seem old roman artifacts and statues, after they seen a lot it was time to go but not before they seen a new poster of an item

"oh what’s this?" George said looking at it

"what does it say dad?" Thomas asked

"well it says 'The ruby jeweled medallion discovered by a pirate named Golot in 1567 A.C. he stole treasures and women that sailed the seas, he came across the medallion during a raid on a navy ship since then he has gone insane saying the medallion was talking to him then he abandon his ship with a few treasures and food while his ship was sinking by an unknown reason after 3 days he was shot down, his treasure and him sank to the bottom of the ocean. In 1972 A.C. The medallion was found by crew fishing out to catch crabs, soon after it was donated to this museum.' “George explained
"wow a pirate!" Thomas say interested in it

"but wait it's not here where is it?" George said

The desk lady near them walked up and says

"That item was stolen a few weeks ago sadly" She said

"Stolen?" Thomas questioned

"Yes it was stolen by the person who presented the medallion" She explained

"...........c...u.....r....." Liz said but stopped looking like she was in pain

Thomas heard her and looked confused on why she stopped

"oh that’s too bad I really wanted to see it oh well come on kids time to head home!" George said heading to the door

Liz goes with Thomas who is heading to the door too and she looks back at the poster before going out and into the car

“so kids did you have fun?" George said driving

"Yea! I did!" Thomas said smiling

Liz putting the doll in front of her face again "Yes we did too it and most interesting on the oooold fossils" the doll said

"ah good now Thomas remember you and Liz need to clean your room when we get back all right?" George said

"all right..."Thomas said sadly
George drives into the garage and they get out and go into the house

"Remember your room needs to be cleaned!" George pointed out

"ok dad!" Thomas said going down the hallway and into his room with Liz following

".....I wonder if I can work on Liz opening up a little." George said quietly and goes in the living room

Thomas cleans up and some help with Liz still holding on to the doll. then Liz had to put the doll on the bed to help push the toy box in a different place with Thomas. when they were finished Liz held the doll again.

"you really like that doll huh?" Thomas said looking at it

Liz says nothing and puts the doll in front of her face again

"Yep she loves me a lot I'm like her best friend” the doll said

"oh really?" Thomas said

"KIDS DINNER!" Barbara yelled from the kitchen

"oh boy!" Thomas said running out of the room and Liz followed

the family sits down to eat

"so Thomas what did you see at the museum?" Barbara said eating

"Oh we saw lots of stuff like a Dinosaur Skeleton and some Armor!" Thomas said excited

"Oh and what was you favorite thing you saw?" Barbara questioned

"hm....oh the Pirate Part!" Thomas said

"Pirate? did they have an exhibit of it?" Barbara said

"oh they put it up recently but the item there was stolen a few weeks ago" George said

"oh my stealing why it's so wrong I hope they found it and who stole it" Barbara said

"well I seen on the news that they caught who stole it but never found the item" George said

"oh that’s too bad I hope they find it soon" Barbara said

Liz puts the doll in front of her again" well if they haven't found it yet what’s the chances of them finding it later?" the doll said

"oh um...hmmm....well I dunno but it'll eventually be found someday" George says finishing up his dinner

"ok kids time for bed!" Barbara said getting up and putting the dishes away

"awww already?” Thomas said get off from his seat

"yes Thomas now go brush your teeth and off to bed" George said

"ok" Thomas said running off with Liz following

After they had brush there teeth they went off to bed

"goodnight you two" Barbara said turning off the light

"night!" Thomas said getting in bed

Barbara closes the door

the next morning Liz and Thomas gets up and out of bed and go to the toy box to play. Few mins later George comes in

"oh already up? well breakfast is ready" George said opening the door

"Ok!" Thomas said and goes to the kitchen with Liz to eat

after they have eaten Thomas goes out and plays, Liz goes but Barbara stop her

"oh dear when’s the last time you took a bath?" Barbara said

"when we went to the museum yesterday why does she need one?” George said

"yes girl do have to look clean and pretty" Barbara said

Thomas comes in

"momma why does Liz going to take a bath now?" Thomas wondered

"cause girls need to look clean and pretty" Barbara says taking Liz into the bathroom

"why? they don't look any different" Thomas said

"just go with it I'm still wondering that myself" George said

"and I thought you were smart" Thomas said in a giggle

"...well you'll wonder too when you get older" George said looking at the news paper

Barbara comes out of the bathroom

"now you stay in there and wash up ok?" Barbara says and Liz nods as Barbara closes the door

7 mins later Barbara comes in the bathroom

"ok time to come out I'll help you dry off" Barbara Said holding a towel

Liz comes out and Barbara dries her off and can't help but see the scars on Liz's body

"oh you poor child all these scars on you" Barbara said as she hugs Liz with the towel on Liz

Liz gets a kinda confused look then a small smile shows and a bit of a tear shows

After Liz dried off Barbara put a pinkish-blue dress on her and sent here to go play with Thomas.

"oh yay Liz here and cleaned up but I don't see why you needed one since we're gonna get dirty anyway" Thomas said

They played for awhile as Barbara was washing the dishes watching them. Then the phone rings

"oh the phone George can you watch them?” Barbara shouted to the living room

"sure honey!" George said getting up

Barbara leaves the sink with some dishes in there. then Liz runs and opens the loose fence board, goes thought, and puts it back in place. Thomas sees her going out and goes too wondering what she's doing. as they went George to the sink and washes dishes and looked outside and see the kids are there, he runs out of the house

"THOMAS!? LIZ!?" George yells

Barbara hangs up the phone” George? what going on?"

"the kids are gone!" George shouted

Barbara runs outside with George"LIIIIZ!? THOOOOMAAAS!!??"

Liz runs in the woods and Thomas following her

"Liz? where are you going?!" Thomas said following

Liz still running sees Thomas waves at Thomas to go back

"huh?" Thomas confused

But then Liz ran into a Bear. The bear looked and stood up and roared at Liz. and apon hearing this George ran into the woods as fast as he could. Thomas screamed but stood there scared but then remembered about Liz who was just sitting there scared he forgot about the bear and grabbed Liz and ran. Liz threw her cat doll at the bear chasing them, the bear bites down on it and ripping it a bit before it stopped. Thomas and Liz still running from the bear stopped behind a tree.

"i-i-i-think w-we lost it" Thomas breathing hard and almost out of breath

Liz looking at Thomas hugs him and still kinda scared

"hm? Liz?" Thomas said confused a bit

Suddenly the bear comes out and roars again this time with a cut on his face.

"AAHHHHH!!!" Thomas and Liz shouted

The bear rises his claw up and begins to lower it fastly to claw at them but George shoots a tantalizer at the bear and 3 shots hit the bear and goes down on its side

"oh my god are you kids ok?!" George said coming to them

"y-y-y-yea were o-o-ok" Thomas said shaken up from the scare

"oh good I wasn't too late" George relieved

"d-dad did you kill him?" Thomas said still scared

"oh no no no I put him to sleep" George said

"oh ok" Thomas said

The go back to the back yard and George hammers the loose board down

"Ok no more going out without me or your mom you really scared us you two!" George said

"We’re sorry!" Thomas said

Liz still shookin up

"well lets go inside your mother is very-" George said but gets slashed at on his arm by the Cat doll that came jumping down from a tree "OW What tha!?"

Thomas sees the doll "huh? What?" Thomas said confused

"YOU!! HOW DARE YOU TOSS ME AT THAT BEAR!" The doll said

"IT talks!?" George and Thomas said

"heh that’s right! now back off!" the doll shouted having his metal blade claw at Thomas's neck "or your gonna have one kid dead!" theating them

"NO!" Barbara said coming out of the house

"BACK OFF I'M WARNING YOU!!" the doll shouted again

"m-m-mom?! d-d-dad?!" Thomas scared and confused

"let him go!" George said

"HEH fine just let Liz run away from here and I'll let him go" the doll said getting his claws closer to Thomas's neck

Liz scared

"all right all right just don't hurt my son!" George pleaded

"heh LIZ RUN I'll meet with you later!" the doll shouted still holding on to Thomas

Liz steps back a bit but then stops

"what are you doing!? Get going!!" the doll said looking back

".....n....NO" Liz shouted

"WHAT did you say!?" the doll said

"I...I said ...NO!" Liz shouted again

"YOU LITTLE INGRATE I protected you! I give you direction to stay SAFE and this is how you repay me!?" the doll said

"...you...you never protected me! you never loved me!" Liz shouted

"Liz I'm giving you one more chance to run! DON'T WASTE IT!" the doll said again

Thomas still scared and confused looks at Liz "L-Liz?"

“I...DON'T...LOVE...YOU...MR.WILLEMS" Liz said angry at the doll

"ARRRRRGHHHAAAHHH!!" the doll shouted sounding like he was in pain, he launched him self at Liz wanting to kill her "DAMN YOU!" but Explodes as the stuffing goes every where and the medallion goes high up

" ....wh-what happened?" Thomas confused and shook up

George and Barbara goes and comforts Thomas, Liz just stood there watching then her head goes down and runs off knowing they would be dis-like her for bring the doll.

"huh where did Liz go?" George said looking around then remembers his arm being cut

"oh Thomas go look inside she might be going to the front door hurry now!" Barbara said

"ok!" Thomas said running off to find her

Liz opens the door and about to run out.

"wait! Liz!" Thomas said going to Liz

Liz stops and looked

"where are you going?" Thomas said

"....I...I'm leaving ....you ..you wouldn't want me around since I brought that doll here...." Liz said depressed

"...please don't go" Thomas said

"what?...but" Liz said confused

"please don't, I like having to around as a sister it would be boring here and mom and dad wouldn't like you to leave" Thomas said joyfully having his hand reaching out

".......*sniff*" Liz cries then hugs Thomas

"thank you!" Liz said crying

Later that day The medallion landed on George's head with a conk. they found out that Liz was following Mr. William’s advice and the one that give Liz the scars and bruises they tried to clear it with the court but they didn't believe them. They returned the item to the museum and then they found out more about the item

"oh you found it!" the front desk lady said

"yes and it was eventful on how we found it" George said putting the item down on the desk

"oh?" the lady said

"yea the information was true!" George said

"really? no it can't be" lady said

The medallion says"...l...loooove meee...LOOVE MEE!!!" it said

George smashes it with a hammer and is able to crack the red gem on the medallion and a scream is heard from it

"ARRRGHHHHHHHHHH" then a red smoke comes out forming a skull then the smoke disappears

"..........oh my" the lady said

"dad? why do you have a hammer?" Thomas said

"well you'll never know when you'll need one ha-ha" George said

"r..right..."Liz said sarcastically

"then it was true what the old man said" lady says surprised at what she had seen

"old man?" Thomas said

"oh why yes old man came by and looked and saw the poster for this item and told me why it was made and why it caused the pirate to go mad" the lady said

"oh then tell us" George said interested in it

"All right it goes like this!" the lady started to explained

"The legend said that the Egyptians made a tomb in owner of there king and brayed his treasure but to insure the treasure was kept safe they made a medallion that had powers so it could scare the thefts away by animating anything that it touched but one theft wasn't scared and took the treasure and fled the country and his ship got sunk by the pirate named Golot" the lady said

"oooh thats how he got it" Thomas said

"well thank you for telling us we should get going" George said

they went out and went home
