I did this a while ago and owing to the scanner I wasn't too happy about submitting it...not quite sure why I'm submitting it now - boredom most likely!
But this isn't the only practice I've been getting - unfortunately I can't show you all the paper based drawings I've also been working on owing to both scanners not working properly - when I get my new camera I'll take a still shot of the meme I did. Meme is such a good means of giving the scene a setting and purpose don’t you think?
This piece kinda sums up what I've been working on. There are some very sketchy lines here which might be a problem when I get around to inking it in - but I know more or less what lines I'm going to discard.
I'm going to draw more character art often; I've made a promise to myself. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while and now I've got quite a bit of down time and simultaneously reached the point where I've had enough inspiration for styling, learned the framing - and so on. Thinking always comes before the filming...or drawing; the best art has the most thought behind it.
The Left page I just submitted so it should be next to this piece in my gallery. The practice sheet (again both left and right) will be added to my WIP very shortly.
