Those wings are total awesomeness! :3 Overall the whole anatomy looks pretty good and all the colors of the dragon look great together. And that fellow has absolutely cute head ^^
I don't think the highlights would look horrible, I think they're quite nice, in fact. And as usually, you did good job with the shadings, too :)
