This is the first time that JoJo has ever forged the signature of a United States president. FACT!

A short comic--just an extended doodle, really--about James K. Polk, because
BackwardsTwin2 mentioned that she was writing an essay about him for a class, and this inspired me. While I was drawing this,
DarkenedTheater introduced me to the fact that They Might Be Giants actually wrote an entire
song about him! Wowzers! I declare this to be my favorite song ever written about a US president. (It has a saw solo!) The title was suggested by
Cowhat-Ninja. Thanks, all three of you!
...Polk was a doofus. Also, "If you elect me, I won't run again"? Brilliant campaign promise! (Can you believe he actually kept it?) Also, perhaps our most difficult-to-draw president? And impotent!
And as for John Tyler...um...Well, he wasn't afraid to be unpopular! (Oh,
John. Disowned by your own political party while in office? And everybody calling you "His Accidency"? And trying to impeach you? That's cold, yo. That's cold.) Also, had JoJo's favorite campaign slogan ever. Also, also, very easy to draw. Bore a striking resemblance to Grand Moff Tarkin. Had fifteen kids. (And maybe a couple with one of his slaves, but historians don't make a big deal about it like they do with Jefferson. Because
nobody likes Tyler.)

John Tyler kind of reminds me of a clean snape. I guess thats why I love him here!

Last panel = EPIC WIN
I would make that my avatar if I wasn't so damn lazy and partial to my current one - it is that awesome!

"...which is a stump." Something about that line alone made this great! Have to love the last pannel though. And I like how drastically different they are. How Polk is kind of round and jovial and Tyler has that kind of scarecrow thing going. In form and color really. But I can see the Tarkin resemblance. Anyhow, again, great job!
