While growing up, I had a friend who I used to visit every weekend to sleep over. Her family had the best collection of the old "Elf Quest" graphic novels by Wendy and Richard Pini. I fell in love. My friend would literally have to tear me away from the books so we could go outside like normal children. They were the very first real comics I read. I was not raised on manga as many may think, judging by my usual art. ;]
Anyways, I was doodling, and out of the blue, an elf appeared on the paper. I thought I'd take a trip back into the past and re-live some of my old fantasy days. I'm thinking of actually finishing this at some point, when I have time again. Any thoughts?
