New Skin

Nothing feels right. Everything feels right. Annie clings to the ground for dear life, knowing that if she lets go, she'll fall into an endless indigo sky. Her skin still feels strange, although now it's begun to chafe with the smallest of movements, as if she were a shedding snake. She chokes on a dry sob and lets the ground kiss her face.

The cricket is my crossover from a recent children's story I wrote in my spanish class (Hijito the Panda and Zeus the Cricket!). I haven't gotten a chance to illustrate the very short tale which involves a dragon with indigestion. Yeah. It's weak, but I have no other OTC's and I really wanted to draw something for the contest. So say HAY to Zeus. This is Wilt from HER perspective
