Going to Maine for a week to do some work for Habitat for Humanity so I figured I'd upload this before I left. Lots of unfinished stuff, lots of boredom... the usual. Anyway here's the gist:
Top: Unnamed alien race thing I've been designing. In a building of some sort. Started as me trying to figure out their architecture, ended with me going off to do something else.
Second: Originally I was just going to post the Arbiter part of this page in my sketchbook, but since the "HAMBURGERS" thing sort of gets in the way I figured I'd save myself the trouble of trying to explain it and just post the whole top half of the page. So there you go. No there is no explanation for HAMBURGERS.
Middle two: Robot shark and cow/buffalo/thing. Going to be turned into paintings at some point. Noooot much to say here other than Google was used for some refs. I like how the shark one came out though.
Bottom: Trying to figure out what Grimlock would look like in "Movie" style. Which is another way of saying some big plates that cover a bunch of random mechanical-looking bullshit. Figure if we were going for "realism" (as realistic as giant robot dinosaurs can be), the exterior would probably be some kind of leathery-polymer-mesh crud that folded up and stretched for robot mode. Also threw in some homages to the War Within comics because they are awesome. Going to finish this while I'm in Maine; hopefully it'll be a digital painting at some point.
