one small voice
in the Emerald City
one small voice
leave your conscience at the tone
one small voice
standing out amongst many
it's time to go down
the rabbit hole

we'll grow and we'll shrink
we'll face the night and day
the moon and the stars will bow
as they did when Atlas shrugged
who could know
maybe he is again
under the weight of our world

one small voice
don't turn away now
one small voice
burn your bibles and your souls
one small voice
look up to God now
is he who he was

it's a time of thoughts and questions
a time of fire and stone
look upon us all now
are we where we were
who is right and wrong now
for nothing is set in stone

one small voice
being heard by many
one small voice
getting stronger as it goes
one small voice
screaming up to Hell now
as sky and earth dissolve

one heart's cry
pleading it's cause to everyone
listen to it speak now
reaching for the sky
as blood begins to boil
snow and sun are melting
down to ice's core

one small voice
for anyone to know
one small voice
turning dust into stone
one small voice
for the people that are dying
with the beauty of
the world

for i'm flying backwards
and you're under my skin
and for no apparent reason
i'm about to give in
whisper here with me now
shout deep from within
and let me go so i can
fly

one small voice
learning how to cry

one small voice
who am i supposed to be now
one small voice
well there's no where to go
one small voice
i can't even think now
when there's no one to trust
for i don't even know who
i am today

just one small voice
forgetting how to feel
and learning how to cry

I don't know what it is, but it was stuck in my head all day and i just had to put it down and it just wouldn't stop coming, i had to write all over papers just to get it all out and even then it wasn't it all and i had to finish it here. phew. been writing it since 7. it still doesn't even feel finished. what are your thoughts?

Interesting.
I think I can relate. This is a great work... It could use some overall basic editing and such but otherwise I see no flaws. Good job!
