On Steel Wings

This is Ciedrik. He belongs to moi.

Cied was developed and built by the robotics company Peacock Corp. in 2086 to combat a growing number of scattered cells of civilian terrorists within the US. He has two very different shells, which he can switch to and from at will: one for blending in with humans and one for ripping them apart. Normally, these two halves would be kept seperate. According to his default settings, while posing as a human, Ciedrik has no idea who or what he is. Only his combat half knows all the details.

However, after a hacking incident, Ciedrik malfunctioned and disapeared, only to turn up later alongside the same people he'd been killing before. The firewall between his two halves was damaged beyond what field repair could fix and his human emotions overrode the primary mission goals housed within his combat half. He wants to just live life as a human, forgetting about the killing machine in him, but until the day he can find peace from the company and government that constantly hound him, he'll fight.
