So, I was working on my story. My story starts from the episode Gotta Catch You Later after Ash separates from Misty and Brock and ends with Ash's inevitable victory. (And of course, realizing the true meaning behind becoming/being a Pokémon Master.) Of course along the way, Ash rejoined Misty and Brock and met with extended members of his family who helped him along - even though he never realized it. Realizing the power and support he's been given through his friends and family gives him new empowerment-blah blah blah...
Anyways, enough monologuing.
So... one day, I'm talking to a friend and we start theorizing what a spawn-of-Ash character would be like. And thus, Strise was born... daughter of Ash and Misty and a HARDCORE Pokénerd. You can tell this from the Pokéballs in her hair, on her clothes and even on her accessories. Being the daughter of a Pokémon Master, she'd also undoubtably be well-versed in Pokémon and rather arrogant, prideful and (being the daughter of Misty) short-tempered. But for all of the bad, she'd also carry sincerity, sensitivity and determination.
To her left is Babiri, Misty's nephew and Violet's son. Unfortunately, no one's really aware of who his father might be but for Babiri, it doesn't matter as long as he gets his share of attention from the girls AND the boys alike. Ok, that might be a bit of a stretch (not really) but he sees Ash less as an uncle and more like a semi-father figure. He takes Ash Ketchum's advice to heart even if it's not always appropiate. He was set up as an apprentice to the gym leader when he was only eight and had to take on all of the battles for his mother who hated Pokémon battling. When he turned ten, he inherited the gym right away but wanted to pass the responsibility of it onto one of his cousins, for he also wasn't too crazy about Pokémon battling. Even though a cousin of theirs turned ten and admired Babiri greatly for running the gym, there was no excuse to leave yet and he didn't want to be alone. The excuse came when Strise arrived and so, he left the gym in their cousin's care. Now he travels with Ore and Strise... (Also partly because he's suspicious of what Ore might want with his younger cousin.)
To her right is Ore Harrison, son of Forrest Harrison (oldest sibling in his family next to Brock) and... Officer Jenny. If you thought shit couldn't hit the fan fast enough, you haven't seen Ore get an invite to uncle Brock and auntie Joy's family get-togethers. If being in a room full of officers wasn't bad enough, dealing with nurses AND officers criticizing his bad behaviour gets on his nerves on a daily basis... not to mention his many aunts and uncles from his father's side and THEIR kids. It's all just too damn much for poor Ore to handle. And so, after Strise totals his gym and he gets yelled at, he goes after her wanting her to cover the damages... but in reality, he also goes to also get away from his scary family.
Enjoy!

hmm... no shading, and one of the characters is wearing premade gradients for some reason... you're not very confident with your coloring, are you? xD

This seems like it should be an interesting story. Can't wait until it comes out so that my character (who's had a confrontation with Ash) and me can ridicule it.

Weeee, Strise was epically fun to design - Sato shall be a trip as well!
