Woah, my mind warped me back to the year 2002! o.o *stares at date* Can you tell I'm TIRED?
At least 2 things about the pose are really awkward so please don't look to cloosely.

He's my second oldest dragon character and has no other name than "Swallow". You know, when you're young, English words sound really cool. *g*
And don't ask about the rings, they've always been part of his design... I don't know either.

Nice dragon you have done :) I don't like the black rings on his wings, but the tail and the head are awesome!

I wanted to see if I could leave some useful suggestions on this image, as I remember you mentioning that at the forums.
The dragon, to me, seems as though it is standing out against the blue sky far too much. I almost think that I should be seeing a blue color reflecting here and there off of his skin due to that brilliant sky. Adding blue highlights seems as though they would "pull" the dragon into the scenery more, reinforce the fact that the dragon really is there.
My personal suggestion, if you'd like it, is to add blue highlights where there are already white ones (on the very top of the top-most wing, the top of the tail, the top part of the...shoulder of the wing-arm, the top of the head, etc. . .)
What do you think?

Magnificent point of view. Love the wings. Looks like it is about to turn towards the background.
