"
When I was growing up, there was an old man that
always sat in the garden next door. He would greet
me every morning as I went to school. The old man
would give me a dollar and say "girl, keep your
head up and you will survive". He would always work away
in his garden and give me whatever crops he could raise to help
my grandmother because we didn't have much money.
As the years passed, the old man stopped working.
He would always sit in his office chair and watch
the days pass by. Eventually, the man died. Even
though he's gone . . . I will always remember his wise words;
Girl, keep your head up and you will survive."

True story. =] I miss that old man . . .
That chair has been in that same position
with that garden tool for two years, now.
It's almost as if he never left.
I like to sit beside it, sometimes.
While the wind whispers the stories
he used to tell me as a child.

My grandpa's wise words are him throwing wrenches at me and telling me to work harder.

This is very beatiful.
No words are necessary to describe this picture. It's all said by what's in it. Very nostalgic.

Quick question.
How does one make those color effects?
There's no black, it's like a pale brown..
