Sketch Dump 05 02 09

Ell oh ell at 1:30 in the morning I went "I REALLY WANT TO DRAW BAT ANTHROS. O_O" 'cause I saw Shorty Antics 27's ( http://shortyantics27.sheezyart.com ) stuff on the main page. I made up my own bat anthros (although I don't have any that are named characters) but they look different, so I was going to draw one of mine hanging out with one more like her style/anatomy. But I only had my 005 Micron and I wasn't enjoying it and I got tired so I stopped and did a watercolor. xD;; OH. And the watercolor is in Crayola. Just the red, blue, and yellow. Not my Grumbachers. SO. Don't anyone use the excuse "Your stuff looks better because you use expensive art supplies. ):" because I can do stuff on the same level (however good or bad it is) with whatever I want. ):<!!! AND. I actually avoid my expensive things because I don't want to buy more. Hey, y'know what I was thinking about today? xD What got me into watercolors. So, first off... My mom would send me off to draw/paint if she didn't want to deal with me. She'd be like "I'm making dinner, go get your watercolors and some printer paper and paint out on the deck. Use your table and don't get any on the bricks; dad will kill you." So I'd go and sit out by myself and paint. x3;; I have two sisters, but they aren't as artsy so they'd be off doing something or not bugging mom in the first place. xD But what got me into trying to really pay attention to watercolors was...... *Glance glance.* >->;;;; The watercolor illustrations in the Pokemon Red and Blue game guide in fourth grade. >o>;;; I was amazed by how they did the white parts where they'd paint and then absorb the paint with a paper towel or something and leave this huge white mark. SO THERE YOU HAVE IT. !!! Consider all content copyrighted to me. ;3 Oh, and look! At the bottom of the bat mannequins there's a cat puking and half-drawn bat anthro chibi's not enjoying it. "Huh-GACK" "EEYEW. D:!!!!"
