when the fairytales start to feel like rejection

something i actually took the time to work on. i could probably have done so much more...shaded darker and used the right brush presets...but i wanted it to look as much like stained glass as i am currently capable of, and i honestly surprised myself.

this is probably the first think i've put more than an hour of work into since highschool, not going to lie. i tend to work extremely quickly, and though i don't necessarily rush things, i know i could afford to take a little more time and post a little less crap.

if there were a working mature tag, it'd be somewhere in this description. religious imagery, coupled with a barely-clothed man covered in cuts and scars and obvious suicide attempts probably should be marked, yes?

and before you mention it--the handwriting is shitty because it's what i imagine his handwriting to look like, loose and frantic and messy.
