You've been gone for so long
Were these past months real?
I can't sense you anymore
Or is it my heart I can't feel?

I've been fooling myself.
Saying soon you'd be back.
These lies haven't helped.
It's your love that I lack.

I need you to come back.
Won't you do that for me?
I'm degenerating fast.
Losing hope and poetry.

I know I need you.
I thought you felt that way too.
If you'd just come online,
Then everything would be fine.

But when you do come back
I'll resent writing this
Such pain I feel when you're gone.
But when you're around, such bliss.

Yet I have comfort knowing
That you feel the same
So, we must persevere.
And meet again in that game.

I love you so much.
You should know this by now
But who'd have thought we would be?
