I made this card for my brother's 19th last week using my new drawing hand.
Long story short we have this rather massive and spoiled cat called Toby which we inherited when my Gran passed away. Toby is rather attached to my brother - so I wanted to do something to incorporate that - and the double entendre in the second panel kinda fell into place...
My brother used to complain about the gifts he got when he was younger, so that was the outline of the first panel.
On the actual card the top panel was on the cover, and the bottom in the centre...and also the ink was orange because our printer is running out of ink which kinda made it look cool - I really need to work out how to work with colour on manga studio...
I'm happy with the dimensioning in the upper panel (ok, more detail could have been added to the malteasers box)
