I was just practicing a random background, when my friend told me it looked like a Mario level
... so I added a few things here and there.
I miss the old days where you had to blow in the cartridge to make the damn game work xD Then keep blowing the dust out of the system, til you turn blue in the face. *wipes tear*
Anyway, I realized I hadn't actually done a real tribute to mario. So here's my way of paying my respects to the old days.

Blowing on the cartridge is actually bad for it! It makes all the copper pins rust over quickly =o
I've always cleaned mine with a solution and a q-tip :3
That aside, great picture! It looks like the first level in the yoshi island section of Super Mario World for the Super Nintento.
