Rainbows
Just because I like rainbows doesn’t mean I’m gay
Would you rather me be decked out in gray all plain and afraid
Rainbows are colorful, way prettier than the nights stars
And best of all the rainbows bracelets really hide my scars
I’ve found something beautiful to adorn my body with
Black and white are pretty cool but rainbows are a gift
After the rain has gone they bring beauty to the sky
So why do you hate rainbows so much, please just tell me why?
Stay dull if you want to, but I won’t criticize you
You all have favorite colors that please your eyes, but all won’t do?
You must be crazy, because this arrangement makes my eyes gleam
Didn’t you know gay had two definitions and one of thems happy?
See it’s all just a mix up, something society made
Now when everyone sees rainbows they walk past fast like they’re afraid
I hate the way things go when someone makes up a trend
Somethings gotta be out because of something and something stupid has to be in
Rainbows are happiness, but I guess you’ll never see
Without red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet together a rainbow wouldn’t be
So when you see a color and you’re glad it’s only one
Just think it takes a part of that color to make a rainbow run
