I drew this for a contest on dA. The guy is actually mine, and his name is Eos.
Because I've never colored him, I had to make him up as I went along.
It wasn't until the end when I was HAND-DRAWING my background did I realize my pen pressure was off the entire time. NO WONDER THE COLORS DIDN'T BLEND SO WELL. If you guys remember me for anything, remember me as the person who attempts to paint backgrounds but does horribly at them. BUT IT'S THE THOUGHT THAT COUNTS.
So, I'm not good at the traditional idea of anthro, but I like to try my hand at it when I can. I used to want to do only humanoid anthro, (i.e., if you gave me an anthro, I would draw him/her humanoid anthro) as a form of a Hika-trademark, but sometimes, I felt zoomorphing them kind of took away some things that made the character. In any case, I'm out of practice, but I do like to try to show that I'm willing to tackle the subject, and that I house no dislike for anthro. 8D
