My take on Ascar's Tree Lions.
They are gliders, like flying squirrels! And they can use their teeth to pull the bark from trees to catch insects. They're also not very big, so that works well for them.
Tried not to give it a small cat's bodybuild on purpose but keep it resembling larger felids.
They have no fixed color scheme yet so I made something up. I figured an arboreal cat would have a spotted coat. I like gray cats, so I picked that color as base. I wondered if I should make the areas inside the spots white, but that would make the animal very obvious. ^^ I'm afraid I made the Tree Lion's coat too unspectacular but I'm not good at designing patterns.
Heh. But anyway, this was fun to make and took me three days.

very pretty but not a close relative of lions real lions can climb trees just not a 10th as well as the leopard family its an interesting concept, I like the big fangs it gives an ancient or mythological feel to the peice *rates up & runs away*
