Character Design Concepts

So yeah, I'm designing a new character. This is just a sheet with all my ideas for him sketched out. He's in the same setting as Goose and Lucas btw.

1. He's linked to the element of water, so a merman was the first thing I could think of. But the idea didn't seem too interesting to me.

2. I wanted to go for something more beast-like. I liked the body, but I wasn't satisfied with his head.

3. The plated armor on the previous design's chest made me think of the prehistoric fish Dunkleosteus. I think its teeth are awesome, I had to put them in his design!

4. Pretty similar to 2, but with some Dunkleosteus elements.

5. He's going to have a human form like Goose and Lucas, but I'm having a bit of difficulty coming up with the design. So far I've decided he's going to have buck teeth because of the weird Dunkleosteus teeth.


Any ideas for his design would be really helpful!
