Blue Mango is a fairly more direct approach to jazz music, the likes of which I try to play when I'm just practicing in general. There are light elements of Blues, but Latin accents as well as jazz compliments predominately coordinate this song throughout the mix. A big change for me in creating this song was in the use of an upright bass. I must say I learned a new appreciation for the vibrant natural qualities of this instrument. I think I'll be adding it to my "go buy this when you have the cash" list.
Enjoy!
