well I spent a couple of hours trying to finish this, and this was the end result of it all.
This is pretty much all the tricks I know about coloring,shading,shine and backgrounds.
yes I suck a lot whee.
FJgamer was my 200th watcher and this is the picture I did for him.

That's pretty nice. I especially love the hair.
But I'd suggest adding a little bit more shading on the guy to add depth.
