God I haven't uploaded anything in a while.
Ssssssssssssskewwwwwwllllll assignment for illustration class. I've been workin on this thing forever.
Bleh...I hope my teacher accepts it. She can be pretty picky.
The assignment was to illustrate a scene from a published piece of writing. I chose this weird deranged story from the Brother's Grimm that no ones ever heard of called One eye, Two eyes, & Three eyes. The story itself makes no sense, but I wanted to draw something interesting and make up my own characters in the process - seeing as the only description of the characters are the number of eyes they have. Ah well.
If you want to read the story, be my guest...but you probably won't like it. You can find all the Grimm Brother's stories by searching for them on google.

I didn't even notice they had different amounts of eyes in the sketch. I just thought the left one had really close eyes together, and the skinny one had some gemstone in her eye.
I especially love the lighting here, and the line control makes me envious. the shapes of the characters are fantastical, but organic. And I just love Two Eyes'... uh... eyes. :3

Wow. I remember that story. Grimms' fairy tales. (I still have the book....many stories not exactly meant to lull your kids to sleep
