For a couple of days now I've been doodling away on paper - the problem is that my scanner has been in storage in our cellar - so I have it in defibrillator mode right now, (Long story short) so I'm going to start getting my hand equated with using a tablet. I'll probably just take my camcorder and get some stills of my paper based work, (my stills cameras are just...bad)
I'm keeping it simple and not trying to draw anything too complicated whilst I improve my line art (as you can see the lines are a little sketchy) but what I don't appear to have problems with is expression, framing and applying narrative - so that's a good start.
The next phase - the inking in - will be the tricky part, but again I'm going to try and keep it simple.
Anybody got any ideas for colour scheme and palate?

If I were you I would never allow my base lines to be that sketchy. It can mess everything up, in the end.
and um. I like navy blues or fluorescent colours, so I do not think I'd be the person to ask.
