Shades is the main (and practically constant) threat to Boomerang, Annihalator, and Cyara. He and his partners in bounty hunting(his sister Nova and the patchwork creature Doll) constantly chase the Z.C.S. trio wherever they go. Shades has flexible bionic eyes that look like sunglasses surgically integrated into his head. He studies his enemies in a stalker-like fashion in his spare time and gets extremely obsessive about them to the point where he actually falls in love with Cyara and believes that she likes him back. Shades comes off as sounding mean but he is very protective of his little sister Nova and is willing to team up with his enemies in order to face greater threats... but he is liable to double-cross anyone in temporary partnerships.
