Another thing I did in art class: We disfigured, twisted, broke, and shredded pencils to create an image of something. I picked a hedgehog because I like ridiculously challenging myself.
Rawr.... Those quills took forever to do.
But I'm happy that I didn't give up on it. |D
Not all of it could get scanned, actually. It's a 12"x14" paper, so the last bit of his quills are missing. He still shows up alright though.
