Mistake: Ch, 3. Nightmare
“Hmm.... I wonder if he's going to survive the bite?” I said, pacing in front of a giant granite fire place.
“Master, Master Lucca!” Zahara my servant for life said.
“What is it Zahara?”
“I found a boy that's been freshly bitten.”
“Where is he?” Not giving her enough time to answer. “Bring Me to Him.”
“He's this way Master.” I started to fallow her out into the hall way, heading towards the front door. “But we must hurry it's getting close to dawn.” She said.
“I know, just hurry and take me to him.”
“There, he's right over there behind that tree.” I walked over to him slowly. To see if he's conscience. “James?” I pushed him with my foot, in the shoulder. Well he's not conscience. “Zahara come over here!”
“Yes Master.” She said as she ran towards me. “What is it?” She looked at me with a weird expectation on her face.
“How much time do we have until sunlight?”
“One hour, forty three minutes and fifty four seconds.” She said
“Ok then, wake him up.”
“Master, I don't think we have enough time to get him back, I say we ether leave him, or we could transform him now.” She said to me.
“No! You're going to wake him up and help him back!”
“Ok, yes master.” She said.
“Just hurry, already.” I said to her.
“Yes Master.” She said as she crouched down next to James. She pulled out a syringe filled with a crimson colored liquid. And stabbed him with it, right where I bite him.
I woke up sometime before dawn, and I felt a weird poke in my neck, I moved my hand up to feel what was there. And there's a syringe in my neck.
“What the heck.” I said as I sat up a little to fast for my head. I put my hand up to my head. “What in the world do you think your doing?”
“Hi James, Do you remember me?” Lucca said.
“Uh......Lucca right?”
“Yes, very good. I'm glad you remember Me, I didn't think you would.” Lucca said
“Wait, where am I?”
“Your in the Mount Rainier National Park.”
“Why am I here?” I quested him.
“Do you remember anything from last night?” He answered me.
“No not at all.”
“Nothing at all, are you sure?” Lucca quested me.
“I'm sure.” I answered him.
“Master we need to leave. Time's running out.” Zahara said.
“James do you think you can walk?” Lucca asked.
“I think so.” I feel this weird trust with Lucca. I don't know how to explain it.
“Come on then.” He held his hand out to me. He helped me stand up. Then put my arm over his shoulder.
“Where are we going?”
“To my house.”
“This is your house?” It is a giant castle, type building. “It's like a castle, how in the world can this be your house.” And I mean it's huge, how can something way out here be that big. It looks like it doesn't belong here.
“Yes it is. And yes it's really that big.” Lucca said.
“Dang, wait a sec, how did you know what I thought?”
“Come my child, everything well be explained soon, I promise.”
Everything inside was huge, and beautiful, it looked like it belonged back in the mid-1800's. We went down one of the many halls.
“Go down this hall and the last door on your left, stay there until I get back, don't worry I wont be too long.” Lucca said. “Oh. Yes one more thing, do not open the blinds”
“Uh....Ok.” I went down the hall, stopping and admiring the beautiful, old paintings.
I went into the room Lucca had told me about. When I opened the door. I gasped. It was one of the most beautiful room's I've ever seen in my life. There was a beautiful canapé bed, with crimson bed spread and pillows covers. Most of the colors in the room are crimson and black. As I looked around the room, there was a giant black granite fireplace, black carpet, with a red rug over it. And around the fireplace, there's a black couch and two matching chars. I went and lade down on the bed. “Dang this is comfortable.”
“James, James, James wake up!” Lucca said while he was shaking me.
“Hu....What.” I sat up on the bed. “What time is it?”
“1 am.” Lucca answered me.
“It's that late? Then why did you wake me up, why didn't you just let me sleep.”
“Because you need to eat.” Lucca said.
“I'm not hungry.” I argued.
“Yes you are, now come with me my son.”
We went down the hall, then down another hall, and though a set of doors, and there's a beautiful red Mahogany table, that could fit about forty something people. Their where two glasses of red whine, but it didn't look quite like whine, it was too slushy and dark looking. To be wine.
“What kind of wine is this?” I took a sip of it. “Tastes pretty good.”
“It's blood.” I swallowed the rest of the wine that was in my mouth.
“Guhhhh.” I said with a horrible taste in my mouth, ok well it wasn't that bad, but still. “Why in the world did you give me that!?”
“Because you need it.” Lucca said calmly.
“I don't need blood! What am I a Vampire?” I said snottily.
“Sorta, well your turning into a Vampire.”
“I'M WHAT!?” I said frantically.
“You herd what I said, your turning into a Vampire.”
“But Vampires aren't real? Are they?”
“Would I be talking to you right now if they weren't?” He said with a little sarcasm in his voice. I was speechless, after he said.
“Wait, what?”
“You herd what I said.”
“Lucca right?”
“Yes, you got that right.”
“Ok, well I have a question.”
“Not right now, that can wait until later.”
“But.”
“No, now come with me.”
