Wow, I actually did something in photoshop without giving up midway!
I've been way too occupied with traditional media, and I recently decided to just go with the flow in photoshop and make something so I don't forget it forever. When I started I realized that I couldn't do anime in a style I liked anymore, and that was... stunning. Also liberating. Nevertheless it was a little scary, and when this started developing I was so surprised. I actually really like this
Yes, I chopped my hair off. OCAD University made me crazy with colours. I love it

well you are right, the color combination is one of those unique combinations that don't match with reality, but is still a great combination only skilled artists can come up with - cause no matter how hard i try, i will never come up with color combos that match very well, in an abstract..sort of way. maybe it is not abstract to you because you are used to seeing it a lot, but it is to me. xD
it's an interesting id overall - how you are having feathers coming out of the mouth and into hands...
there really is something about pictures like these that stray a bit away from reality...but it is not a bad thing. it is interesting, and there are only some artists who can do that without making the picture look strange. i would make it look strange if i attempt.
